How to Close a Deal

Generally once you’ve collected all the payments on a deal you are ready to close that deal. There are cases where deals may have outstanding balances when you close them so the system will allow you to close a deal with a balance, however this is not recommended. After closing a deal you will still be able to search for it if you need to reference it.

Once you’re ready to close a deal go into the Payments tab then click Close Account.

Enter the date this deal is closed on and enter any necessary notes. By default the notes will say Closed Contract.

The lower section will break down what will happen to the deal once you close the account. You can highlight any item on that list and click Show Details to view more information. More information on each option can also be found here.

When you are ready to close the deal just click Save. The Close Account button will now show the date this deal was closed.
