Profit Calculation

The Profit Calculation setup screen allows you to define what deal items go towards your profit calculation.

To get to the setup, click File -> Setup, then in the list on the left, click Profit Calculation.

• There are four columns:
  • Item – If the item has a + in front of it, that indicates enabling it will add to the profit. If the item has a – in front of it, that indicates enabling it will subtract from the profit.
  • Gross Profit – Profit before you pay your sales and finance people.
  • Front-End Profit – Items that go towards your sales reps’ commission.
  • Back-End Profit – Items that go towards your finance people’s commission.
• To enable or disable an item, double click it to open it’s details.
  
• • Check the appropriate box for the selected item to be calculated into.
    • For example, if Front-End profit is checked, the item will be added to the profit, because the item has a + in front of the name.
  • *Note – Any pack amount you have will be deducted prior to calculating the front-end and back-end profits.
