FAQ: eBay Post Error – Invalid Leaf Category – AutoManager

The way eBay handles categories is that the Makes of vehicles are like branches and Models are like leaves.

This error occurs when eBay does not have a model for the particular make of the vehicle being listed.

If this error occurs when posting a vehicle to eBay from WebManager, navigate to the particular vehicle’s Vehicle Specifics by clicking on the Make/Model from the Live Inventory.
Double-check and confirm that the correct Make and Model is selected for the vehicle, then try again.
Some information may not be editable after the vehicle has been activated to Live Inventory. If you need details changed that you are unable to access, please contact AutoManager Technical Support.
