The AI Ad Manager is part of WebManager’s Facebook Suite and allows you to create, launch, and manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns using guided AI tools or prebuilt templates. The goal is to make it easier to advertise your inventory, generate leads, and start buyer conversations without needing to manage ads directly inside Facebook.
Using AI Ad Manager, you can create AI-powered ad campaigns based on your inventory and goals, launch ads on Facebook and Instagram, review and manage active campaigns in WebManager, and respond to leads either in Facebook Messenger or directly within WebManager.
This article will be broken up into the following sections:
- Accessing Facebook Suite and AI Ad Manager
- Opening the AI Campaign Builder
- Creating a Campaign with the AI-Driven Assistant
- Creating a Campaign with Ready-to-Launch Ad Templates
- Reviewing and Launching Your Campaign
- Managing Your AI Ad Campaigns
- Viewing and Responding to Leads from AI Ads
Accessing Facebook Suite and AI Ad Manager
From anywhere in WebManager, you can access Facebook Suite using the left-hand menu.
Select the Facebook icon in the left-hand navigation to open Facebook Suite.
When Facebook Suite opens, you’ll land in the Facebook Marketing Suite area. From the top of the screen, select the AI Ad Manager tab to manage AI advertising.
If your Facebook account, Page, vehicle catalog, and Facebook Pixel are connected, the AI Ad Manager screen will confirm that your AI ad account is active and ready.
Opening the AI Campaign Builder
Once inside the AI Ad Manager, select Launch AI Campaign Builder to begin creating a new campaign.
You’ll then be asked to choose how you want to create your campaign.
Creating a Campaign with the AI-Driven Assistant
The AI-Driven Assistant walks you through campaign creation step by step. It asks questions to understand your goals, inventory, and challenges, then uses that information to build an optimized campaign for you.
At the top of the screen, a progress indicator shows each stage of the process, such as Analysis, Goal, Budget, Vehicles, and Generate.
The assistant first asks about your primary campaign objective. Depending on your selection, it may recommend common strategies such as moving aging inventory, starting buyer conversations, capturing leads, or driving sales.
Next, the assistant asks follow-up questions to better tailor the campaign. These questions may relate to your preferred advertising approach, current business challenges, or the type of inventory you want to promote.
You’ll also be asked to choose which inventory to focus on. You can promote all inventory or narrow the campaign to specific categories such as luxury vehicles, SUVs, trucks, fuel-efficient vehicles, or special offers.
Once all required information is collected, the assistant confirms that the campaign is ready. Select Generate Campaign to allow WebManager to build the campaign using your selections.
Creating a Campaign with Ready-to-Launch Ad Templates
If you prefer a faster setup, you can choose Ready-to-Launch Ad Templates instead of the guided assistant.
This option displays a selection of prebuilt campaign templates designed for common automotive advertising goals, such as starting Messenger conversations or capturing leads with Facebook forms.
Each template includes a short description explaining what the campaign is designed to do. You can view additional details or deploy a template directly.
After selecting a template, WebManager takes you to the same campaign review screen used by the AI-Driven Assistant.
Reviewing and Launching Your Campaign
After generating a campaign, select Review Campaign to view the campaign before it goes live.
The review screen displays a summary of the campaign, including the campaign name, targeting strategy, schedule, and included vehicles. You can review and adjust key settings before launching.
An ad preview is shown so you can see how the ads will appear across placements. When everything looks correct, select Launch Campaign to begin running your ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Managing Your AI Ad Campaigns
After you create at least one campaign, you can manage all campaigns from the Campaigns screen in Facebook Suite.
Each campaign appears as a card showing important information such as status, budget, duration, and performance summary when available. You can use search and filters to find specific campaigns, especially if you are running multiple ads at the same time.
Campaign performance data may take some time to appear after launch. You can refresh analytics to load updated reporting once Facebook provides the data.
Viewing and Responding to Leads from AI Ads
Leads generated by AI ad campaigns can be responded to either through Facebook or directly inside WebManager.
If a campaign starts conversations through Facebook Messenger, incoming messages are delivered to your Facebook Page. You can reply to these messages in Facebook as usual.
The same Messenger conversations are also available inside WebManager. To access them, open the Messages section in WebManager and select Messenger. This allows you to manage Facebook conversations alongside other customer messages without leaving WebManager.
For campaigns that use lead forms, submitted leads are captured in WebManager and can be followed up on using your existing contact and messaging tools.
Because WebManager stays linked to your Facebook account, conversations remain in sync whether replies are sent from Facebook Messenger or from within WebManager.
