The DeskManager Import Log indicates which units were successfully imported into DeskManager Online and will also outline any units that may have experienced an error during the import process.
Reviewing this log can help you detect any data discrepancies that may have occurred before you start using DeskManager Online in earnest.

Reviewing the DeskManager Import Log
First, click the Settings cogwheel located at the bottom of the leftmost sidebar.
Under the Reports & Charts category, click DeskManager (Desktop) Import Log.
In the Start Date and End Date fields, select a timeline that includes the date you performed the DeskManager 11 data transfer.
The Status field indicates the status of the import, such as if it was successful or unsuccessful. If the Status is set to All, then all units will appear. If you specify a Status, such as Failed, then you will only see units that failed to import.
Lastly, you can also filter your data by Lot.
Once happy with these settings, click Search. Imported vehicles based on your search criteria will appear.
Each vehicle will appear with a timestamp detailing the exact import time.
The Description column indicates the unit or custom form that was imported.
The Upload Data Type column will indicate if this upload was a vehicle or custom form. There is no “Deal” upload type as deals are uploaded alongside the vehicles they are attached to.
The Lot column dictates the lot the vehicle was imported into.
And in the Status column, you will see a green check for successful imports or imports completed with error. A red exclamation point indicates deals that failed to import.
For deals that failed to import, attempt exporting these again from DeskManager 11. If they fail to import a second time, please call AutoManager Technical Support at 800-300-2808.
