Reports are an essential method of tracking profit and costs, reporting sales tax, and examining dealership trends. To that end, DeskManager Online offers customizable and comprehensive reporting tools, as well as a handful of common premade reports many dealers rely on.
This article will cover the Reports Settings pages. It will be broken up into the following sections:
New Report or Chart
To create a new report or chart from scratch, click the New Report or New Chart button.

Custom Reports
The Custom Reports tab will display any custom reports that your DeskManager account has access to.
You can see the scope of the reports here as well. The scope indicates who has access to it.
From here you have the option to Preview, Customize, or Copy your report.
Preview will allow you to view the report in its current state.
Customize will allow you to change the parameters your report is based upon. For additional information on customizing reports, refer to our article here: Customizing Reports
Copy will create a copy of the existing report and allow you to customize it to suit your needs. The Copy option is recommended if you want to keep your initial report in-tact. For additional information on customizing your copied reports, refer to our article here: Customizing Reports
To delete a report simply hover over the desired report then click the trashcan icon.
You will be prompted with a warning asking if you would like to proceed with the deletion.
Library Reports
The Library Reports tab will display all reports and charts created by AutoManager. These reports must be added to your Custom Reports section in order to be edited.
From the Library Reports tab, you will have buttons to Preview the report or Add the report to your Custom Reports tab.
Preview will allow you to view the report in its current state.
Add will make a copy of the report and put it into your Custom Reports tab. For additional information on customizing your copied reports, refer to our article here: Customizing Reports
