Description Tab

Vehicle descriptions are used on the WebManager marketing platform when advertising vehicles on your website, and across third-party exports. Rather than having to navigate to WebManager to write your description, you can include the vehicle description in DeskManager Online. 

As a reminder, you can also activate and display vehicles on your website from DeskManager Online through the user of inventory sub-statuses: Inventory Sub-Statuses

Adding a Vehicle Description 

Navigate to the Inventory List and select a vehicle. 

Select the Description tab. 

From here, include an optional tagline and write a description for the vehicle. 

When complete, click Save in the top-left. 

This vehicle's tagline and description will automatically appear in WebManager as the Default Description. 

If you instead add a vehicle description or edit a description in WebManager, the updated description will appear in the Description tab in DeskManager Online. 

In short, you may choose to add a vehicle description in either DeskManager or WebManager, and the description will automatically transfer to the other system.
