Selling Packages
Selling Packages define standard “package” labels you use when selling parts (examples might include; Box, Each, Pair, Gallon, etc.). These packages can be selected when setting up parts so your team stays consistent.
How to Get There
In the left menu, go to Settings > Parts > Click Selling Packages
In the Selling Packages page you will find:
- Add Selling Package
- Search - Global search bar
- Column headers
- Name
- Description
- Active status
How to Add a Selling Package
Click Add Selling Package
The Add New Package dialog will appear
- Name (required)
- Description (optional)
- Click Save Package
How to Edit a Selling Package
Click on an existing Selling Package to edit it
In the Edit Package dialog we can see
- Name (required)
- Description (optional)
- Active (Toggle between an active and in-active status)
- Best Practice - If you no longer want a package used, set it to Inactive instead of removing it, so older parts/invoices that reference it still make sense.
To lock in the change click Update Package
