Purchase Packages
Purchase Packages define standard “package” labels you use when working with parts (examples shown: Box, Gallon, Pallet, Quart, Roll, Yard). These packages can be selected when setting up parts so your team stays consistent.
How to get there
- Go to Settings > Select Parts > Click Purchase Packages
What You Can Do on the List
- Search
- Filter by
- Name
- Description
- Active (status)
- Add a new purchase package
Add a Purchase Package
Click Add Purchase Package
In the Add New Package dialog, give the Purchase Package a Name (required) and short Description (optional). Click Save Package once completed.
Edit a Purchase Package
Click an item to open Edit Package
You can edit the Name, Description and toggle the Active status of a Purchase Package.
If you no longer want to use a Purchase Package, set the Active status to inactive. This way older parts and invoices that reference this Purchase Package still make sense.
