The Parts Inventory is your master list of parts. Use it to search for parts, review pricing and categorization, and open a part record to view or edit details.
How to Get There
Expand the Left Menu > click on Parts > Parts Inventory.
Create a New Part
Click Add Part at the top of the page to add a new part
Search Filter and Sort Parts
At the top of the table, you can focus the scope of the list using the global Search, individual column searches and\or use Filtering and Sorting to refine search results. These filters help you quickly find Parts by their Part Number, Vendor, or Description. This can be in combination of one another or used separately.
- Search bar - General search of all columns
- Lot selector - Choose which lot you’re viewing; All Lots or Current Lot
- Column Headers - Can be used to filter through individual column headers
Column headers can be removed or shown based on your preferences.
The order in which the column headers display can also be changed at any time, by dragging and dropping a column header.
At the bottom you’ll see:
- Items count
- Filters count
- Rows per page
- Pagination controls
Opening a Part
Click a Part row to open it. You’ll be taken into the Part details, where you can update the existing Part.
Edit Part Details
When you open a Part, you can view/edit:
- Basic Info - Part #, UPC, Description, Category, Vendor, Manufacturer info
- Pricing & Packaging - Purchase Cost, Markup Pct, Selling Price, Purchase and Selling Package
- Inventory adjustment - Set Actual Quantity to correct current stock
- Inventory info - Quantity On Hand, Quantity On Order, Min and Max on Hand, Bin Location
