Part Kits let you group multiple parts into a reusable bundle (“kit”). Kits can be added to a part invoice as a single selection, which helps speed up common jobs (example: brake service bundle, oil change bundle, etc.).
How to Get There
Expand the Left Menu >click on Parts > Part Kits.
Create a New Part Kit
Click Add Part Kit at the top of the page to add a new part
Search Filter and Sort Parts
At the top of the table, you can focus the scope of the list using the global Search, individual column searches and\or use Filtering and Sorting to refine search results. These filters help you quickly find Part Kits by their Part Name, or Description. This can be in combination of one another or used separately.
- Search bar - General search of all columns
- Lot selector - Choose which lot you’re viewing; All Lots or Current Lot
- Column Headers - Can be used to filter through individual column headers
Column headers can be removed or shown based on your preferences.
The order in which the column headers display can also be changed at any time, by dragging and dropping a column header.
At the bottom you’ll see:
- Items count
- Filters count
- Rows per page
- Pagination controls
Opening a Part Kit
Click a Part Kit row to open it. The Part Kit dialog will appear. This is where you can update the existing Part kit and its contents.
Edit Part Kits
When you open a Part Kit, you can view/edit:
- Name - This should be an easy remember name to reference later when adding Parts Kits to an invoice
- Description - This is a short description further clarifying what this part kit can be used for
- Kit Parts Selling Summary - this is the breakdown or Part Totals (Costs), Discount Totals and Freight Totals
- Parts Table - This is the list of parts that will be applied to an invoice when the part kit is selected
