Finance Companies

Plan codes, late charges, upfront participation; there’s a lot to remember when adding a finance plan to a deal. That’s why it’s best to add finance companies and their attached finance plans before you actually need them.

Adding a Finance Company 

First, click the Settings cogwheel located at the bottom of the leftmost sidebar. Under the Contacts category, select Finance Companies. 

The Finance Companies list displays every finance company you have added to DeskManager Online. From here, you can see an overview of their basic information. 

To add a Finance Company to DeskManager Online, click Add New in the top-left. 

There are four different tabs that can contain information about this new finance company. 

The General tab contains basic information, such as the name, contact information, address, and any notes you’d like to include about this finance company. 

The Identification Data tab contains identifying information for this finance company, such as its license number, ELT ID, or Institution ID. 

In the Finance Plans tab, you can add one or more finance plans this company offers. Once you’ve added a finance plan to the finance company tab, you can automatically pull the plan into a deal. 

In the Flooring Plans tab, you can add one or more flooring plans this company offers. These plans can then be pulled into the Purchase tab of a unit. 

Deleting a Finance Company 

You can delete an existing finance company on the Finance Companies list by clicking the box to the right of the company and selecting Delete. 

By deleting a finance company, it will no longer appear as an option when selecting a finance company. 

Your records will remain intact. Deleting a finance company will not affect your current or previous deals that may have used this finance company.
