To help dealerships track the state of an open account, DeskManager Online offers customizable account statuses.
For example, perhaps an account is in process of repossession or in need of financing. You can assign a custom “in repo” account status to better organize your workflow
How to Set Up an Accounting Status
First, click the Settings cogwheel located at the bottom of the leftmost sidebar. Under the Accounting category, select Accounting Status.
To add a new accounting status, click Add New.
Give this accounting status a name.
Then choose a color for this status.
The tag for this accounting status will be the color you select, making it easy to identify. Here’s an example of a green status in the accounting list.

Unlike an inventory substatus, an accounting status is purely an organizational tool and does not change the behavior of an account.
If you want to have this accounting status automatically apply to every new account, click Use as Default.
Once complete, click Save & Close.
