CARFAX Setup

DeskManager Online can pull vehicle history reports from Carfax after a simple setup process.  Once you’ve configured these providers, learn how to run vehicle history reports by reading our article here: 

Running Vehicle History Reports

To integrate with Carfax, first click the Settings cogwheel.

In the Integrated Vendors category, select Vehicle History Report.  

Select Carfax from the list.

Click Log in to CARFAX. This will take you to the CARFAX web portal. Log in to CARFAX with the same credentials you use to log in to the CARFAX website. 

If done correctly, you should automatically navigate back to the CARFAX setup page. The green button will be replaced with a message indicating you are now logged in. 

Next, check the box for Show in List if it isn’t already enabled. This will ensure CARFAX appears as an option for running and viewing reports. If you aren’t using this report provider, leave this box unchecked. 

Once complete, click Save.
