WebManager Data Exchange

The WebManager Data Exchange Utility is a tool that will allow users to send data from DeskManager to WebManager or vise versa.

To access these settings, at the top click Tools -> WebManager Data Exchange within DeskManager.

• This will bring up the WebManager Data Exchange window which lists all your available vehicles under the DeskManager and WebManager headers respectively.
• To export vehicles from DeskManager to WebManager, select the vehicles under the “DeskManager” header then click the Export button in the upper left.
• To import vehicles from WebManager into DeskManager, select the vehicles under the “WebManager’ header and click the Import button in the upper right.
• You have the option to select every vehicle under either header by clicking “select all”, or you can choose the arrow next to “select all” and choose specific options.
  • For example, you could choose “Select all not in WM”, then export those vehicles specifically to WebManager.
• There is an Options button in the top right (  ), click it and it will display a menu.
  
• Import vehicle features – If this is checked, the vehicle features in WebManager will be imported into DeskManager.
• Import Pictures – If this is checked, the vehicle photos from WebManager will be imported into DeskManager.
• Import Purchase Price (will not import if purchase record already exists) – If this is checked, the purchase price of a vehicle in WebManager will be imported into DeskManager, but only if there is no purchase record for the vehicle.
• Override DM prices for available inventory – If this is checked, if the vehicle prices in WebManager are different than in DeskManager, the WebManager prices will overwrite the DeskManager prices.
